The Schiffstation Wien City near Schwedenplatz is right in the center of Vienna. The Twin City Liner, a fast catamaran service between Bratislava and Vienna and sightseeing cruises depart from there. Nearby is the home base of the Vienna boat taxi offering not only charter trips but excursion to the Donau-Auen National Park. Of the bars and restaurants in that area the 'Badeschiff', a barge converted to a restaurant with bar that also features a swimming pool, and the remains of the paddlesteamer Johann Strauss are noteworthy.

In addition there are berths at Nudorf or near the Kahlenbergerdorf (see also www.donaustationen.at or Lftner Cruises). Being close to the wineries some exursion vessels occasionally stop there and many overnight vessels berth there for their call at Vienna. Be aware that this is on the outsikrts of Vienna and can not be easily reached compared to the 'Schiffahtrtszentrum Wien' at the Reichsbrcke.
