Prinsesse Ragnhild

Bahamas Celebration of Celebration Cruise Line was originally built as Prinsesse Ragnhild at Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft and served for many years on the Kiel - Oslo route, first in the livery of Jahre Line and later in the livery of the successor company Color Line. In 1992 Prinsesse Ragnhild has been streched and extensively refurbished. From 2008 onwards the ship was deployed on the Oslo – Frederikshavn route before being sold to become Bahamas Celebration. More detailed information on that vessel can be found at wikipedia and Simplon Postcards.
On October 31st Bahamas Celebration hit an underwater object. She developed a list and had to return to Freeport where all persons aboard were evacuated safely.
